Robert “Bobby” Shea is a founding partner of Shea Culgin Law in Brockton, Massachusetts, where he represents injured people in car accident, truck accident, motorcycle accident, wrongful death, slip and fall, and workplace injury cases. He has worked on negligence and injury matters since 2002 and has handled thousands of cases across Plymouth, Norfolk, Bristol, and Suffolk Counties.
Attorney Shea began working on injury cases as an undergraduate in 2002 — more than two decades of experience focused exclusively on representing injured people and their families. He handles every stage of a case personally: the initial consultation, the investigation, negotiations with insurance companies, and, when a fair settlement isn’t on the table, serving as first chair at trial.
That hands-on approach is increasingly rare. Many injury firms pass clients between case managers and associates; when you hire Attorney Shea, you work with Attorney Shea.
A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Robert grew up in Stoughton and attended Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood before earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in 2005. He returned home to earn his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 2009, working as a law clerk by day and a Boston bartender by night to put himself through school.
Attorney Shea’s clients often describe him as a trusted advisor long after their cases resolve. He regularly hears from former clients — by phone, text, and email — with questions about everything from insurance disputes to new accidents, and he answers them. Once you hire Attorney Shea, you have a counselor for life.
Attorney Shea’s record includes a seven-figure settlement in a Plymouth County car accident case, among many other substantial recoveries for injured clients across Southeastern Massachusetts.
